- Manage your team from many devices
The Rules
In iFormula1 your fantasy F1™ team scores points based on the real Formula 1™ drivers' championship points. You choose your team options, and you get points if the drivers for those options score points - so if you choose Red Bull as your chassis, you get points if Sebastian Vettel or Mark Webber score points. Choose the Ferrari engine and you get points if Fernando Alonso, Felipe Massa, Nico Hulkenberg, Esteban Gutierrez, Daniel Ricciardo or Jean-Eric Vergne get points.
The different types of option have different points weightings, so you need to decide whether to hedge your bets with a well-used engine, or stake everything on a superstar driver. Your budget is limited, so you won'be be able to choose your dream team, the skill is in successful compromise.
Every iFormula1 team is in the main league, and you can also create your own leagues. The more points you get, the higher up the league you go. At the end of the season, if you have the same points as someone else in the league, we use a tiebreaker to decide who wins.
Team Options
Your Fantasy F1 team is made up of five options:

DriversChoose two drivers. Your iFormula1 fantasy F1™ team scores 4X the Formula One™ points for your driver position, so if one your drivers race win gets you 100 points. If your drivers finish first and second you get 172 points. |

ChassisChoose the chassis for your car. The chassis is the heart of the team, and in iFormula1 you get 2X the F1™ drivers' points. If the drivers of your chassis finish first and second, you get 86 points. |

Team PrincipalThe Team Principal runs the team, and their strategy choice can win and lose races. In iFormula1 you get 1X the Formula 1™ drivers' points. If your principal's driver finish first and second, you get 43 points. |

EngineEngines are the most regulated of the options, but have a largest spread of drivers. In iFormula1 you get 1.5X the F1™ drivers points. In 2013 eight drivers are running with the Renault engine, so if you choose Renault and all those drivers finish in the top eight positions you get 151.5 points. |
